Over four years contracting at Apple, I have been senior writer, copy lead, and associate creative director on projects and launches across iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, AR, OS, WWDC, Environment, and Accessibility.
I contracted at Oculus for two years as Associate Creative Director for Oculus. I lead writing efforts on a complete rebrand, Oculus Connect, and the launch of Oculus Go and Oculus Quest. I also ran creative efforts on Social, Influencer, and Email marketing and worked on on-platform projects.
We gave Netflix’s Fireplace for Your Home the full-feature treatment. Trailers, subtitle and foreign language audio tracks, and some behind the scenes featurettes where I played the film's director.
For the first time, Fireplace ended up being the most-watched title on Netflix that holiday season.

Netflix told us people don't actually hate spoilers, they just hate the people who share them.
So we created a site where you could press a button to see one of the biggest spoilers on Netflix at random. And with nobody else to blame, over 12 million visitors did.

The Brooklyn Nets have an 80-year-old superfan that waves his hands and shouts "Whammy" during opponent free throws.
Last season, an apparently litigious NBA superstar that I've been warned repeatedly not to call out by name, missed a freethrow and had Mr. Whammy ejected from the arena.
This season, when that whiny douche came back to Barclay's Arena, we made sure Mr. Whammy was back with JetBlue and all of Brooklyn behind him.
Nobody was thrilled with the tone of the 2016 election to begin with, but when politicians were called out for acting like clowns and turning our democracy into a circus, that didn't seem fair to our client: Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey.
Aside from the whole caging and whipping animals thing, they're pretty cool people, so we decided it was time for the Circus to reclaim its name.

Google Chrome asked to use April Fool's Day to showcase a feature of their mobile app.
We taught Chrome to translate any webpage into emoji.
On April 1st, 2014 it really worked, but now you'll just have to take our word for it.

US Cellular is always looking out for customers “In the Middle of Anywhere”. Within days of the launch of Pokémon GO, people in rural areas realized they were missing out on some of the fun triggered by huge groups of users in rural areas.
By the first weekend after release, we figured out a way to lure hoards of rare Pokémon to cities in rural Maine. So the sensation that went viral in Central Park came to small town squares from Ogunquit to Freeport.
I've been the thumbs behind Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine, Tumblr, Pinterest, LinkedIn and other social accounts for brands like Netflix, Audi, JetBlue, Adobe, Lenovo, Qualcomm, the US Military, MasterClass, MassMutual, Royal Caribbean, and more.
