I was the 11th person in line to get the original iPhone and won a prize in elementary school for transposing the Star Wars theme music into code on my father’s Macintosh SE.

To celebrate the announcement that Swift’s programming language would now recognize emoji, we hid punny easter eggs in the code for WWDC app where we knew developers would find them.
